The other day while working in Outlook 2010, I ran into a issue where, when I pasted a link in my message the link would change to { HYPERLINK http://example.com }
A Google search on this problem should several ways of resolving it in Office 2007 or Office 2003, but those methods would not work in Office 2010 as the menus have all changed dramatically (they are now all in a ribbon). So I needed to start experimenting. after much trial and error, I figured out that…
To turn off this “feature” press CTRL-F9
To turn on this “feature” press CTRL-F8
Where do you press CTRL+F8/CTRL+F9 ?
While in an e-mail, or while staying in Outlook 2010?
I have a client who is having the exact same issue, however I can’t seem to disable this “feature” anywhere.
Are you sure these two options work? I’ve tired both several times & even re-started my outlook but it is still doing this same crap.
They worked for me last time I had this issue. I’m not using Outlook 2010 anymore so can’t test.
alt F9 on the body of the message does it!!!!!!
This thing was driving me nuts and i started banging on keys like crazy until it did it!!!!
